Location
Festival, is located on a wonderful place with rich vert, around the bank of the river Ardas , few kilometers away from village of Kastanies. Visitor will have the opportunity to experience remarkable music events and to participate in creative events, taking place throughout the day.
Camping is close to the location where events take place. It is a position of unique natural beauty, offering an area of 1,5km full of trees next to river appropriate for campers to habituate either with a tent or with house trailer. It’s worth to be noticed that the price of the ticket includes your residence to the camping.
Central music stage and stages with information of governmental and non-governmental carriers are established close to the river, too. In addition, water level of river during summer period allows the construct of a second music stage on the natural islands, where many artists will perform. At the subsequently place there are fields for water & beach volley and mini football, place for archery, row, fishing and many other activities.
Parking is found in a close distance from the entrance of the festival. Adjacent, carriers of the event construct a track for moto cross where arresting races take place every year.
• River
of Ardas is bayou of river Evros, pass through Balkans and Thrace.
• Ardas is larger and deeper than Evros and is navigable on Hellenic
land.
• The Hellenic dam has capacity 300 million cubic meters and is
found between villages Therapio and Milia. It has been built since
1969 and canalizes water to Orestiada and Trigono.
• Kastsnies has 1.500 residence and exist of the border point of
Greece close to Turkey, in longitude 11km as the convergence of
Lozani defined (1923).
• Kastanies abstain 18km from Orestiada, which is the second bigger
city of Evros. Orestiada has been created since 1923 from emigrants
of village Karayats and is the most beneficial geographic hub of
connection and distribution of products to the whole area.
• Highway No.51 passes across Orestiada and Kastanies and terminate
to Greek-Turkey boundaries. Furthermore, stairwell of Egnatia Street
leads to Greek-Bulgaria borders. From the above you can easily understand
that visitors can visit Turkey via Kastanies and Bulgaria via Ormenio.

During your residence to festival, you can accomplish a range of excursions to various vicinities of Evros. After, passing the ford, you meet Trigono and you can arrive until the northeast region of Greece, Ormenio which abut with Bulgaria.
At west borders with Bulgaria you can visit Petrota and Pentalofo, as well as dam of Ardas close to villages of Milia and Therapio. You can return to Ardas through Kyprinos and Rizia.
South from Orestiada and Thourio you can lay down to Rigio and Pithio. There admire the brilliant Byzantine tower of Kantakouzinos, the champaign of east Thrace and the view of river Evros.
At the historical Dudimoticho you are going to be excited with the old town and Byzantine castle. Furthermore, you can go around to the town of emperors, to visit the prototypal house of painter D. Nalmpantis and to pass the bridges of Erythropotamos (red river) terminating to Tsigla grove.
Street leading to Elinochori ends to Metaksades, a beautiful traditional village. Through Ladi, Filakio and Rizia you can return to Ardas.
Throughout Kastanies you pass to Turkey, to Adrianoupolis. It’s far just 15-20 minutes, if you go with your car don’t forget to bring you green card.

the town of silk, Soufli, the highland region of Derio and its folkloristic
villages, the forest of Dadia for an observation of accipitrine

default to boating at Evros delta and finally to visit the cosmopolitan
Alexandroupolis.
